ast term Te Ngahere and Te Maunga were practicing to draw Kowhaiwhai and koru, our WALT was to draw kowhaiwhai and koru patterns. We started out practicing them with crayons then we got a big piece of paper and draw it with pencil. After that we need to make korus and design  a pattern for our family.

Maromaku

Last week on Friday some of Paihia School went to Maromaku. The year five and six were playing together we were playing rugby.  We won all of our games but in the semi finals we lost. But we won the finals and for all of the games we won we came third. We all left Maromaku as champions.

making ice cream

Last Friday. Te Ngahere made some ice cream. We got chosen up to make ice cream. We made a recount about making ice cream too, my WALT was metaphors, alliteration and similes. When it was mine and my buddy Alexsi turn, we needed to get a bag. We put whipped cream in the bag then we put sugar in the bag I will tell you the rest in my story

Beach clean up

The beach clean up. We went to the beach to clean up the beach because it was a bit rotten and stinky so we cleaned it up and we found lots of smoke buds and a lot of beer bottles.

Bird Ball

For my Oral language this week we designed a bird feeder. We went to Shirley to make a bird ball it took a lot of ingredients. But when we were ready we hung them up on trees and one of them in the tree.
